Job Opening for Commis Bakery Pastry in Maldives for 5* Resort

As a Commis-Bakery - Pastry you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of bakery products such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.

  • Weighing and measuring ingredients, mixing and kneading dough, and monitoring baking times.

  • Operating and maintaining bakery equipment and tools.

  • Decorating and presenting bakery products.

  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the bakery area.

  • Assisting in ordering and maintaining bakery supplies and inventory.

  • Following recipes and adhering to food safety standards.

  • Working collaboratively with other bakery staff to fulfill customer orders timely.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Commis in a bakery or similar role.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of bakery production processes.

  • Ability to operate and maintain bakery equipment.

  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
