Eclat Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) Continental individual who is passionate about the culinary arts, capable of delivering exceptional continental cuisine, and ready to contribute to our renowned resort's success.

Job Responsibilities

As a DCDP Continental, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the continental kitchen

  2. Preparing and cooking high-quality continental dishes with precision and creativity

  3. Ensuring all food preparation meets our established standards and the expectations of our guests

  4. Maintaining a clean and organized working environment in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations

  5. Collaborating with other members of the culinary team to develop new menu ideas and specials

  6. Assisting in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed

  7. Training and mentoring junior members of the culinary team

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Previous experience working as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role, with a focus on continental cuisine

  • Extensive knowledge of continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

  • A creative approach to culinary arts and a passion for delivering exceptional dishes

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • A degree or diploma in culinary arts
