This role requires a seasoned leader with deep therapeutic expertise, proven resort leadership, and the ability to design transformative wellness journeys that integrate Eastern healing traditions with Western diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across spa, fitness, yoga, mindfulness, and medical/therapeutic departments.

  • Full P&L responsibility, ensuring commercial discipline while preserving healing integrity.

  • Uphold ultra-luxury brand standards (Forbes / LQA) with discretion for UHNW guests.

Program & Concept Development

  • Design structured wellness journeys (detox, stress recovery, longevity, lifestyle transformation).

  • Integrate Ayurveda, yoga therapy, physiotherapy, and holistic sciences with modern diagnostics.

  • Develop treatment menus, rituals, and multi-day programs balancing authenticity, guest outcomes, and revenue.

  • Translate brand vision into distinct spa concepts aligned with destination, culture, and guest profile.

Pre-Opening & Facility Planning

  • Collaborate with owners, developers, architects, and spa designers during pre-opening and repositioning projects.

  • Provide input on spa layout, hydrothermal zones, treatment room mix, and equipment selection.

  • Establish SOPs, treatment protocols, and service scripts for scalable excellence.

Continuous Innovation & Brand Governance

  • Monitor guest data and refine programs post-opening for seasonal and thematic relevance.

  • Manage media, awards, and brand reputation in the global wellness space.

  • Balance operational feasibility with guest-centered healing experiences.

Spiritual & Personal Practice

  • Embody calm, grounded leadership rooted in daily wellness practices (yoga, meditation, mindfulness).

  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and comfort working in silence, ritual, and spiritual traditions.

Remote & High-Sensitivity Operations

  • Confidently manage wellness retreats in nature-based, remote environments.

  • Adapt programs to seasonal and environmental conditions.

  • Provide ethical judgment and crisis management for long-stay guests undergoing emotional transformation.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 10–15+ years in wellness, integrative health, or luxury spa environments, with progression into senior leadership.

  • Therapeutic Foundation: Ayurveda, Panchakarma, yoga therapy, physiotherapy, osteopathy, or integrative medicine background.

  • Resort Leadership: Proven track record in destination wellness retreats (not city spas).

  • Concept Development: Expertise in pre-opening, repositioning, and translating philosophy into built space, menus, and SOPs.

  • Luxury Hospitality: Familiarity with ultra-luxury standards, guest privacy, and brand governance.

  • Spiritual Maturity: Long-term engagement with wellness practices and traditions.
