Eclat Hospitality is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager for a boutique hotel in Mumbai. Indian Art theme 16 room Property. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.

  • Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained at all times, meeting and exceeding guest expectations.

  • Coordinate and manage all restaurant activities, such as reservations, seating arrangements, and billing.

  • Assist in developing and implementing creative strategies to enhance the restaurant's profitability and reputation.

  • Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and compliance with food safety standards.

  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with the kitchen staff, ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and restaurant.

  • Provide courteous and efficient customer service, promptly addressing and resolving any guest queries or concerns.

  • Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner, taking appropriate actions to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Assist in creating and updating menus, and suggesting innovative ideas for food and beverage offerings.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.

  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies and minimizing wastage.

  • Uphold all health and safety regulations and practices within the restaurant.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a boutique hotel environment.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.

  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficient in using restaurant management software and MS Office applications.

  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
