Hiring For CDP Staff Kitchen for Maldives Resort
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to the established menu and recipes.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Ensure proper quantity and quality of ingredients for meal preparation.
Adhere to health and safety standards in food handling and preparation.
Monitor inventory and report any shortages or spoiled products.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
Assist in menu planning and new recipe development.
Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
Assist in cost control measures and budgeting.
Essential Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role as Chef de Partie.
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen or in a luxury hotel/resort is preferred.
Experience in menu planning and creating new recipes.
A culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
