Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the established menu and recipes.

  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.

  • Ensure proper quantity and quality of ingredients for meal preparation.

  • Adhere to health and safety standards in food handling and preparation.

  • Monitor inventory and report any shortages or spoiled products.

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.

  • Assist in menu planning and new recipe development.

  • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.

  • Assist in cost control measures and budgeting.

    Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.

  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role as Chef de Partie.

  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen or in a luxury hotel/resort is preferred.

  • Experience in menu planning and creating new recipes.

  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
