Job Opening: Learning and Development Specialist (Female)
Renowned hotel chain in TamilNadu is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a female professional with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry. As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the knowledge and skills of our workforce.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive learning and development programs for our hotel employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training to excel in their roles.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs, conduct skill gap analysis, and develop customized training plans.
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including e-learning, workshops, coaching, and mentoring, to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and manuals to support learning initiatives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance analysis, and continually enhance them based on the findings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate relevant innovations into our training programs.
Requirements:
Minimum of 9 years of experience in learning and development, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, training methodologies, and adult learning principles.
Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, both in-person and virtually.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire employees at all levels.
Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and work independently as well as part of a team.
