Career Opportunity | Chief Engineer – Hotel in Northwest Delhi
A hotel in Northwest Delhi is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead its engineering and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on maintenance expertise and a steady commitment to safety and reliability across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance department, covering daily operations and preventive maintenance programmes.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-safety and other building systems to keep the property running without interruption.
Plan and control the engineering budget, energy consumption and vendor and contractor work.
Ensure statutory compliance and safety standards; lead inspections and audits.
Train, mentor and supervise the engineering team.
Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, F&B and other departments for smooth operations.
Drive energy-efficiency and cost-control initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
Hands-on hotel experience is a must. Candidates from standalone and smaller properties are welcome.
Strong knowledge of building systems, statutory compliance and preventive maintenance.
Based in Delhi NCR, or willing to work in Northwest Delhi.
