Hiring for Duty Manager position in Pune for a chain of boutique hotels

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and guest‑oriented Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth functioning across departments. The ideal candidate will act as the key point of contact for guests, manage operational challenges, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day‑to‑day hotel operations during assigned shifts.

  • Ensure seamless guest experiences, handling escalations and resolving concerns promptly.

  • Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for efficient service delivery.

  • Monitor occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction metrics during duty hours.

  • Enforce SOPs, brand standards, and compliance policies.

  • Lead and motivate staff to maintain high service quality and operational discipline.

  • Conduct shift briefings and ensure proper handovers.

  • Manage emergencies and ensure guest safety protocols are followed.

  • Assist in staff scheduling and training initiatives.

  • Oversee usage of hotel systems (PMS, POS, CRM) during shifts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and operational procedures.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, IDS, or similar).

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
