Job Responsibilities:
As a Laundry Attendant, your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our resort's laundry services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, and guest clothing with utmost care and attention to maintain their quality.
2. Ensuring the proper handling and care of delicate fabrics, treating stains, and using appropriate cleaning techniques.
3. Operating laundry machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
4. Organizing and keeping track of guest laundry orders to ensure a timely and accurate delivery.
5. Collaborating with other departments to provide seamless service and meet guest expectations.
6. Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a laundry attendant in a hotel or resort setting would be an advantage, but not compulsory.
2. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
3. Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate cleaning techniques.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
