How Can I Prepare For A Telephonic / Zoom / Online / Virtual Interview?
The preparation remains the same as a real-world one, the offline one.
You must:
Know about the industry
Know about the company
Know about the job profile
Know about the interviewer (it is mega important!)
ensure your profile is updated
ensure you have all your numbers in place
ensure you are dressed for the part
have rested well the night before
had a healthy bowl of breakfast
and tell yourself you can do this!
In addition, you should:
ensure you are in a no-noise space
have a decent background (if not using a virtual background)
have tested the software the interviewer will be using
have a decent microphone
have put a DND - Do Not Disturb on your door/space if you are sharing it with others
